Seasons’ Greetings to you all!
I just checked the weather in the Midwest. It looks like some snow and cold temperatures are in the future. Those of you already situated in the sunny climate of Florida will miss that. Here in San Diego the forecast is for warmer- 70s and higher- and perhaps 80s in the desert.
The FIC has been looking forward to the New Year and planning visits to warm places to counteract this bad weather. We have an Annual Meeting planned for San Antonio. Yes, I know the FIC has had a previous trip there. Also, we are finally traveling to Hawaii. Check the newsletters for information on these two trips.
We are also trying to plan activities to cover the whole spectrum of abilities that our membership represents. When we plan trips we want traveling to be enjoyable, interesting and present unique experiences even if you have already been to the area. There is always a chance to see something different. Watch for news of our travel plans and sign up to join your FIC friends. I have always said the FIC members are the best travelers.
I want to wish you a wonderful, safe and healthy New Year. I hope to see you next in San Antonio. You are very important to our organization and we appreciate your membership.
(We all extend our best wishes to our president, Edwina Shell-Johnson and to Art Curtis upon their recent wedding.)
